The show was received exceptionally well in our congregation. Many people in our church found themselves challenged to re-examine their lives to become more of a light to our community instead of being a “walking blackout.”

I travelled with Dallas for a week as he did gospelomedy at churches and beach missions around the top of New Zealand's South Island.

< Tonight I went to church at New Plymouth AOG, who hosted a combined service with an extremely anointed combined music team, and visiting Christian comedian - yes there is such a thing! Dallas Atkins is doing his "Gospelomedy" show across New Zealand at the moment, and if you're thinking of getting creative with an evangelistic outreach, or if you just want a good laugh, I thoroughly recommend him. Dallas has put together a new concept called the “Gospelomedy” in which he creatively and cleverly brings to life some of the great Biblical characters of centuries past, using well known characters from Bands, Movies and TV that audiences relate to, portraying the great message of Jesus Christ. Dallas has recently ministered in our church with his “Gospelomedy” and was greatly received and enjoyed by all.

There were lots of laughs and surprises through the entire show. I was delighted to see how much the congregation enjoyed it, especially the children and the older adults. Atkins, presented a Gospelomody Show on a Saturday night, followed with one hour on the Sunday morning. Both presentations were of a professional nature, were very humorous and creatively conveyed the gospel message.
